Tianlong 3 failed on its first flight

Accident Description

At 12:17 on April 3, 2026, the Tianlong-3 Y1 carrier rocket, independently developed by Space Pioneer, lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Zone). An anomaly occurred during flight: the first-stage engine compartment malfunctioned at approximately 33 seconds into the flight, causing loss of attitude control. The mission team terminated the flight as per procedure, resulting in the failure of this maiden flight test. The original goal of launching 36 satellites in one mission was not achieved.
