Falcon Heavy

Falcon Heavy (FH), formerly Falcon 9 Heavy, is a partially reusable heavy-lift launch vehicle developed by SpaceX. It is derived from the Falcon 9, consisting of a strengthened core stage and two additional Falcon 9 first boosters, with a 63.8-ton LEO payload capacity—far exceeding the 22.8 tons of the full-thrust Falcon 9.Designed for human spaceflight, it is capable of crewed missions to the Moon or Mars and can launch heavy equipment for asteroid mining.Due to continuous upgrades of the Falcon 9 and a backlog of launches, its debut was repeatedly delayed. Falcon Heavy successfully launched for the first time on February 6, 2018, carrying Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster as its payload.
